Giorgio Ieranò is Professor of Greek Literature at the University of
Trento (Italy) where he is also director of the Research Center and Digital Archive of Ancient Theatre “Dionysos” (https://r.unitn.it/en/lett/dionysos). He has translated and adapted various Greek dramas forthe stage: in particular, for the Istituto nazionale del dramma antico (INDA), Euripides’ Bacchae (2012), Aeschylus’ Seven against Thebes (2017), Euripides’ Heracles (2018) and Euripides’ Iphigenia in Tauris (2022), all staged in the ancient theatre of Syracuse.
