The 2nd International Symposium on Green Chemistry for Environment and Health presents the current issues in Green Chemistry and comes as a continuation to the 1st symposium that was held in Munich, October 13-16, 2008. The aim of the symposium is the presentation of scientific surveys and papers which focuses to new approaches to the synthesis, processing and use of chemical substances in such a way as to reduce threats to health and the environment.The Symposium is designed to encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge and to strengthen communication and cooperation between environmental chemists, toxicologists, biologists, medical scientists and diverse groups of the scientific community (managers, regulators, policy-makers, academia) concerned by current issues in green chemistry with a focus on environment and health.
