Is contemporary art "difficult" for children? Or can their move toward abstract and semantic art become direct and creative utilising a suitable approach?
The experience of the educational workshop at the Van Abbe Museum Exibition in Athens indicates that children familiarise themselves easily with works of contemporary art. They draw from these images and ideas that can be re-channeled creatively in an extremely imaginative way in their own works, widering and liberating their own expressive powers.
